Our French Summer Camp has an action packed schedule from dawn until dusk, every day and every week! Students at our French Summer Camp enjoy a range of great activities, lessons, free-time and great food. So what is it like in practice!

Students on our Residential French Summer Camp arrive on a Sunday afternoon. They are welcomed by our team of Camp Leaders and shown to their room to meet their room-mates and to unpack. Dinner is at 7pm and then we organise a welcome evening so students get to meet everyone else at the camp.

On Monday morning, students start their French lessons. These take place from 9h-12h30 with a half-hour break and groups are organised according to age and level of French. Our teachers are native speakers and fully qualified and experienced teachers and the French lessons at our French Summer Camp are designed to be fun, communicative and effective.

After lessons, students at our French Summer Camp have a substantial lunch prepared by our great caterers who can cater for most dietary requirements. A little relaxed time to let their food go down and then they are getting ready for their afternoon activities.

Campers take part in a varied afternoon activity programme ranging from swimming to summer sledging, hiking, treasure hunts, cable-car rides and much more! And that is only the ‘standard’ programme! Campers at our French Summer Camp can also choose adventure activities such as white-water rafting, canyoning, climbing, adventure park, via ferrata, or horse-riding 3 afternoons per week.

After the evening activities, those staying on our Day Camp head home to spend the evening with their family. Those staying on our residential French summer camp get some free time to either head into Morzine with friends and a Camp Leader or to call home or relax before dinner and the evening activities.

In the evening, all of our French Summer Camp campers have dinner together before the evening activity starts. Teenage discos, ice-hockey matches, forest night walks, karaoke, table-tennis tournaments and much more keep the campers busy right up until bed-time when they are well and truly ready for a rest before getting up to do it all over again the next day!
