You can select from a local area pass covering 2 resorts or a full Portes du Soleil pass including 12 connected resorts.
Optional Extras
Choose useful holiday extras such as airport transfers, French cultural activity programme, ski hire, ski lessons and private one to one tuition.

Course Information

Our Learn French and Ski or Snowboard Package is a wonderful way to learn French and experience how special the mountains are in winter! Join us this winter in Morzine… a popular mountain town in a beautiful setting with a history of excellent snow conditions. Morzine & Avoriaz are the same resort so you can ski in Avoriaz from the ski lift nearest to Alpine French School and enjoy the higher altitude pistes!

Course Types

We offer two French courses to choose from to pair with your Winter activity. We have purposely planned one intensive class late in the afternoon so you can make the most of the snow in your free time and added one intensive course in the morning for those who don’t ski or those who want to concentrate on their French!

Super Intensive Course

20 hours of French lessons / week
4 hours per day Monday – Friday 8h30-10h30 and 15h-17h
Price per week starting from 490€ for the first week and 475€ for the following weeks booked!
2-6 weeks 475€ per week

Intensive Course

10 hours of French lessons / week
2 hours per day Monday – Friday 8h30-10h30 or 15h-17h
Price per week starting from 259 €
1-6 weeks 259€ per week

Skiing Information

Skiing in Morzine & The Portes du Soleil

Morzine is located in the Portes du Soleil ski area, 650km of pistes spanning France and Switzerland. It is the perfect location for skiers of all abilities with wide, open, gentle pistes for beginners and black runs and endless off-piste options for advanced skiers.

We evaluate all of our students before enrolling them on a course to ensure that everyone is placed in a group of a suitable level. We also like to discuss students’ objectives for their course to ensure that everyone is placed on a course that suits their aims in French language learning.

I wanted to thank you for 2 lovely weeks in the French Alps and in my French school classes. You can’t control the snow and weather but you managed to produce just enough snow so I could enjoy my skiing vacation. My French class was a lovely break from the slopes each afternoon and gave my family a little time ‘away’ from mom. It was terrific – a lovely town – the apartment was beautiful and well situated for our walking needs…and our last night at La Grange was wonderful.

I hope you have a little break between winter and the summer visitors to enjoy a walk along the river (thank you tour guide for that great suggestion).
