Summer Camp Lessons for English-speaking children schooled in France

Alpine French School runs a popular Summer Camp every summer during the long summer holidays. There are several different options within our Summer Camp in France:

Residential Camp with French Lessons or English Lessons
Day Camp from 9h – 17h30 with French Lessons or English Lessons
Morning Lessons from 9h-12h30 from Monday to Friday

We offer several different types of lessons in the mornings at our Summer Camp:

French for children of all nationalities
French GCSE tuition and preparation for other examinations including IB, AS level, IGCSE…..
English for local French children
English for English-speaking children schooled in France (learning to read, help with reading and writing)
French for English-speaking children schooled in France to keep up their French over the Summer holidays or to work on specific areas of weakness

All of our lessons are taught by native-speakers of the language they are teaching. All of our teachers are qualified and have a wealth of experience in teaching. Many have taught in the UK school system so are aware of the demands of the curriculum and are up to date with current teaching methods and resources.

Ages:

We welcome children from all over the world to our Summer Camp in France from between 6 and 17 years of age.

Dates:

Our Summer Camp runs from 9th July – 19th August 2017

Our Camp:

We run our Summer Camp in a separate centre to our main school which we use uniquely for adult courses during the summer months. Our Summer Camp centre is perfectly adapted to junior courses with large airy classrooms, plenty of outdoor space for break times and picnic areas to have lessons outside if the weather allows!

Afternoon activities:

In the afternoon, we organise an activity programme with a linguistic focus. Our Camp Director and Activity Leaders plan an action-packed week of great activities which are conducted in the target language to get students speaking the target language outside of the classroom.
