French Language Holidays for Families

Alpine French School is the expert when it comes to French language holidays for families. We ensure that everyone in the family has a great holiday, improves their French and tries some great activities at the same time! Based in the beautiful vibrant Alpine town of Morzine, Alpine French school offers Family French Courses during July and August.

Juniors Lessons & Activities

JUNIORS (5/6-17 years):

Lessons

Morning lessons for juniors take place from 9h-12h30 Monday to Friday with a 30-minute break. Junior Day Camp lessons are designed to be fun and to complement academic studies. Our teachers specialise in bringing French to life and putting this into context via a range of activities, games, songs and little outings. Juniors work on projects and speak French to the locals out and about in Morzine. For students studying for their GCSE, IB or A-level, we can provide more exam focussed sessions.

Optional Afternoon Activities for children

Our qualified native-speaker activity leaders put together an activity programme each week for our juniors with a wide range of activities. Juniors often have a choice of activities and workshops depending on the weather, local events and the ages of the children. Activities range from sports activities like swimming and water games, white-water rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, tree-top adventure park, tennis, horse-riding and much more!

Parents can choose to take part in a French Intensive Course in the mornings from 9h15-12h15. A great way to meet other parents and improve your French at the same time, our adult courses are fun and focus on conversation. Our native-speaker teachers really bring the language to life with relevant and interesting topics and activities. Courses run for all levels from beginner to advanced and we also offer private lessons if you would like individual tuition.

We place our Juniors into groups according to age, level and any additional information provided by the parents. On the first morning of the Camp, Juniors are informally evaluated during the class activities. We then rearrange the groups after the morning break if necessary
