Many people are looking for more interesting ways to spend a holiday than lying on a beach. This is a part of the travel industry that is booming and we often get contacted by people wanting to advertise our French Intensive Course & activity packages on their websites promoting original holidays.
Well, the packages we offer all include a minimum of 3 hours of French Intensive Classes per day. These French Intensive Courses are taught by native French Speakers who are qualified and experienced teachers. We have a great team of teachers who are all young and dynamic and know how to make learning French fun! After all, you don’t want to be sitting reading a grammar book for 15 hours of your holiday. These French Intensive Courses take place in the afternoons to make time for all of the great activities we offer in the mornings!
You can combine your French Intensive Course with a range of activities. Morzine is a great place if you love the outdoors, there is an endless amount of activities to try! Mountain biking, road cycling, hiking, trail running, climbing, Via Ferrata, rafting and paragliding are just some of the sports available. And that’s not to mention the pools and lake beaches offering watersports! The morning is the ideal time to take part in mountain sporting activities and this is why we have our French Intensive Courses in the afternoons.
So, students start their day with breakfast overlooking the mountain views and the sun rising over the mountains. They then head off to their chosen sporting activity. Sometimes with other students, sometimes with other French participants, our qualified French guides will take you for your morning adventure! You’ll then have time to grab a bite to eat at one of Morzine’s many eateries before heading into Alpine French School for your French Intensive Course. After you finish your French classes at 17h15, you still have time to enjoy a stunning Alpine evening. Why not try an ‘apéro’ (early evening drinks) in the sunshine before heading out to dinner to sample some local specialities such as tartiflette, fondue or pierre chaude. Some of our students share accommodation with other students so they cook together in the evenings and others stay in host families where the family provide an opportunity to eat like a French family.
After an action packed day, what better than a refreshing sleep in the still, quiet, cool Alpine air. Our students often comment that they have never slept so well!
