Safety

Lessons: 8:30am – 20:00pm
Reception: 9:00am - 12:30pm and 14:00pm - 17:30pm

We take the safety of our junior students very seriously. France, quite rightly, has strict rules and regulations that all Summer Camps must comply with. We are a fully French registered summer camp which means that we adhere to all safety requirements.

One of the great things about our French Summer Camp is the amazing activities on offer. Again France has strict regulations about activity providers and activity centres. When we take our groups to the local aquatic centre, there are criteria for groups such as having the correct ratio of leaders to students, wearing a designated colour swimming cap when in the water and of course the pools are all lifeguard patrolled too. For all of the other activities, each company and all of its guides must be fully registered and all of the staff and guides fully qualified and experienced. Safety briefings are often given in several languages to ensure that everyone fully understands before starting an activity.

All of our Camp Leaders are qualified and experienced, in France this is a necessity to work at a Summer Camp. This qualification means that all Camp Leaders understand about what is required for the well-being, safety and happiness of their junior groups. They learn techniques for dealing with juniors in all situations and above all how to keep them safe and happy. There is a ratio of leaders to juniors that must be respected.

All of our teachers who teach the morning language lessons are fully security checked and experienced in teaching juniors. Many are trained as school teachers in addition to being trained as language teachers. They are all enthusiastic and love working with juniors.
