“I wanted to write to express my thanks for the French lessons Ali has taken via Skype over the last couple of years. I am very pleased to let you all know that she received a top score in French. In the International Baccalaureate a 7 is the highest grade and she achieved this with ease getting 91% with almost perfect scores in her speaking. She is now deciding what to do and is keen to keep up her language skills as she goes on to do either Arts or Law (or perhaps both) at university.
Many thanks to the team at AFS in particular Lucile who was her teacher this year. Ali really enjoyed and benefitted from her lessons.
Also pass on our thanks to Debs for her efficient administration. I don’t think I ever mastered coordinating the change of clocks in Spring and Autumn in Tasmania and France. Deb’s emails were always cheerful and very tolerant!”
