The Ranfolly chairlift in Les Gets is being modernised in time for the Winter 17/18 season. Currently a 4-man lift, dating from 1986, it will be transformed into a 6-man capable of carrying 3300 skiers per hour with a total investment of €9.5 million. This is a welcome addition to the Morzine-Les Gets ski area as this chairlift allows skiers to explore some great pistes and terrain but there was always a long queue!
The Pléney learner slopes located at the top of the Pléney cable-car are being extended for winter 2017-8. Accessed by a covered magic carpet, these beginner slopes are a great place for skiers and snowboarders to find their feet. The extension of this area is great news for families, children and beginners!
Colibri Bistro serving brunch, lunch and informal dining all day long. Set up by 2 local Morzine residents, this new bistro will be a welcome addition to Morzine’s restaurant scene!
“Le Colibri will be about relaxed dining in an informal cafe bistro style. We’ll be open all day, every day to offer our customers flexibility. As we’re both mothers, we know how important it is to find good quality meals for children and to offer a warm, welcoming venue. We look forward to meeting many new locals and holiday makers when we open our doors in December!”
