Types of French Course
Alpine French School has 2 types of French Course during the winter to choose alongside snowboarding. Based on student feedback, we have one Intensive Course that runs late afternoon so that you can make the most of the snow during the day and we also have an additional intensive course in the morning for those who wish to study more intensively!
Intensive French Course
- 10 hours of French lessons per week
- 2 hours per day from Monday to Friday 9h-11h or 16h-18h
- Prices per week start from 170 €
- 1-6 weeks 190€ per week
- 7+ weeks 170€ per week
Super Intensive Course
- 20 hours of French lessons per week
- 4 hours per day Monday – Friday from 9h to 11h and 16h to 18h
- Prices per week start from 330 €
- 1-6 weeks 350€ per week
- 7+ weeks 330€ per week

Additional Course Costs
- Alpine French School Registration Fee – 30€ per year per person
- Peak week supplement (10th feb – 10th march) – 70€ per person per week

More Intensive French Course Information
Prices per week:
- Shared room in an apartment shared with other students – 275€
- Single room in an apartment shared with other students – 475€
- Family Corner (2 bedrooms: for 2 adults + up to 4 children + bathroom)- 800€
- French Host family half-board – 550€
- French Host family B&B – 525€
- 3* and 4* Hotel: several options available including room only, B&B, half-board. Please contact us for up to date pricing as it changes often.
- Linen – 20€ per stay (for apartments)
- Cleaning – 20€ per week (for apartments)
Snowboarding in the Morzine area
Morzine is situated in the Portes du Soleil ski area, with 650km of pistes spanning France and Switzerland. It is a great location for snowboarders of all levels with easypistes for beginners and black slopes and many off-piste options for more advanced snowboarders.

We organise ski passes and airport transfers for our students and we are also pleased to recommend our partners for snowboarding lessons and hiring snowboard equipment. Please see below for our recommendations.
Airport Transfers
We can arrange transfers from Geneva airport to Morzine. The prices quoted here are for shared transfers, however we can give prices for private transfers if required.
- Single Transfer – 35 €
- Return Transfer – 70 €
Individual French Lessons
If you would like individual tuition during the week you can also book individual lessons.
- 30 minute – 30€
- 60 minutes – 60€
- 90 minutes – 90€

We do an evaluation of each student before enrolling them on a course to make sure that each person is placed in a group of the right level. We also discuss students’ objectives for their course to make sure that each student is booked on a course that suits their objectives in French language learning.
