Intensive French Course January 2016

Every year, the majority of people make a New Year’s resolution. For some people, the resolution is to learn a language or to improve their language skills. For many of you, especially if you are reading our blog, then this may well be French! This resolution will take continued commitment throughout the year, but an Intensive French Course in January is the best way to get the year off to a good start.

Alpine French School is running Intensive French Courses throughout January 2016. With courses of different levels running, we will have an Intensive French course suitable for your level of French. We evaluate all of our students before placing them on a course to make sure we have an Intensive French course suitable for their level of French.

Timetable: our Intensive French Courses take place in the afternoons during the winter season frm 3pm – 6.15pm with a 15 minute coffee break. This means that you can ski/snowboard all morning and then take your Intensive French Course in the afternoon.

Cost: so how much does an Intensive French Course cost? The basic price is 275€ per week which includes 15 hours of lessons and all of your course materials. We also offer discounts for when you book for more than 4 consecutive weeks on our intensive course.

What will I learn? The course content for an Intensive French Courses is determined by your teacher and this is based on the level of the group. You will work on all skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing and pronunciation), but the focus during your Intensive French Course will be on speaking and listening skills. Your teacher will also give you additional reading, writing and grammar to do in between the lessons to fully consolidate what you are learning in class.

If you are in Morzine for the whole ski season, then you can also join our weekly group lessons to enable you to continue the good work on a weekly basis. We run a 10 week course of French lessons with a 1.5 hour lesson each week and personal work in between.
