However we believe that one of the most special things about our French Summer Camp is the brilliant teachers and staff we have to run it. We have experienced, bilingual teachers who are passionate about everything the summer school stands for and we have a fantastic team of support staff running the school itself which we think makes us stand out from the crowd.

If you’re thinking of sending your child to learn French with us this summer, these are the wonderful people who’ll be looking after them.

Christelle- Co-Director, Director of Studies and Junior Camp Director

Christelle is part of the foundation of Alpine French School and is part of the team who set up and organised our very first French Summer Camp in 2014. She’s very much in charge of putting the whole itinerary together and loves creating a schedule that she knows the kids will love. Her teaching experience comes from working in the UK before returning to France to live in the mountains with her dog and little cat. She specialises in teaching higher level French but also loves working with the other teachers to create a programme that’s current, innovative and above all fun! You’ll see Christelle bustling around at the school during the camp weeks, be sure to give her a hello!

Jean-Brice- Director of the French Residential Summer Camp

Jean-Brice is back and in charge of running and organising our residential summer camp. He also looks after the staff and activity leaders and loves to be part of the action. You’ll see him around at our school, meeting the children, leading fun activities and generally getting involved in everything.

French Summer Camp – the teachers

We have a great group of teachers for the 2019 summer camp. Watch out for Celine, Chloe, Amy, Katja, Helen and Roberto. They all have a wealth of experience to bring to the table and all speak both English and French. Many of our teachers have taught in different countries and in schools around the world. This means we have a great understanding of the different curriculums and exactly what’s needed to help progress your child in the right way. This team of teachers is also full of fun, enthusiasm and empathy, meaning your child will really enjoy lessons with them.

French Summer Camp Activity Leaders

As well as the great team of teachers at the 2010 summer camp, we also have an invaluable team of activity leaders who are based on site. This energetic crew really makes our summer camp what it is. They’re always on hand to offer support to the children whilst also running activities and games for the children to take part in. This year the team will include some faces from last year including Loic, Karl, Victor and Roberto. These guys meet your children at the airport if they’re travelling alone, help them settle in at the school and they’ll also be the faces that lead them throughout the week that they’re with us. They certainly bring more fun with them as well!
