French Intensive Course November: student feedback

We asked a couple of students taking a French Intensive Course with us this month for some feedback on what they thought about their course….

Why did you decide to take a French Intensive Course with Alpine French School?

Because I need to try and speak to my neighbours at least!

I need to gain a better understanding of the language also from a business perspective.

Do you live in Morzine all year-round or are you visiting the area?

I live here all year round

What is your profession?

What do you most enjoy about taking a French Intensive Course at Alpine French School?

Not sure ‘enjoy’ is the correct word but great to work with other people who are in the same boat and know you are not alone in your struggle.

What is your teacher like?

She is very good and extremely patient with me. I consider that she has a good knack of seeing the bits that you get and the bits that you don’t!

I don’t always understand what is expected during an exercise, but she then comes and individually explains when necessary.

And the other students?

A nice bunch, working well together

What do you do to try and speak French outside of the classroom?

Only really in shops etc. still too scared to try much else!

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I am finding it quite difficult, my head feels at bursting point at times….maybe it is an age thing and I have forgotten the learning process, however the content is great and hopefully will be good for a favourable mindset going forward.
