French Courses this Autumn

Here in the French Alps, autumn is over and winter is well and truly here! With abundant early snowfall and cold temperatures, this is a very different start to the season to the last few winter seasons in the French Alps. This early snow is great news for the ski industry and anyone thinking of booking a ski holiday!

But for the time being, the ski lifts are set to open in December so there is still a bit of time in November and early December to work on your French with one of our French courses if you live in the area in between maybe a spot of ski touring to take advantage of the early snow.

And for those of you arriving in Morzine in the next month for the winter season, why not take advantage of one of our French courses to brush up on your French before the season really gets going?

Alpine French School has several different options:

Intensive French courses running throughout November

  • 15 hours a week (5 days x 3 hours)
  • The perfect way to give your French a real boost before the season
  • This equates to the same number of hours of French as taking a weekly Frech course of 1.5 hours per week throughout the season which makes you realise how much you can learn in just one week!

In December we offer pre-season ‘Crash French Courses’

  • 10 hours per week
  • Times designed to fit around work obligations
  • Learn the basics to get by during your winter in France without concentrating too much on grammar. Designed to get you speaking French!

Remember that if you are employed on a French contract, if you have a French business or if you are an auto-entrepreneur, you are eligible for a training budget to cover the cost of your lessons! We can help with the application and explaining how the training budgets work, just drop us a line!
