Alpine French School: Choice of French Courses

Alpine French School offer a range of French courses and since many people aren’t aware of everything we offer, we thought we’d write a little resumé of the main different types of courses we run!

Private Lessons

We offer private lessons or individual lessons.

  • You can choose the duration (45 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, even 2 hours if you want intensive study!)
  • You can choose the day and time (subject to availability)
  • Suitable if you aren’t on a regular schedule as you don’t have to stick to the same time each week
  • Suitable if you aren’t in Morzine all the time (if you travel for your job for example) as you can plan lessons around your schedule
  • If you prefer to have explanations in English, then private lessons are best as the lessons are tailor-made to your level, your objectives and your learning preferences!
  • We can even travel to you if you prefer for a small travel fee, however most students prefer to come to the school to be in a concentrated learning environment :)
  • All of our teachers are native-speakers and qualified teachers who come from all over France to work in Morzine teaching French
  • If you are on a French contract or have your own French business or if you are an auto-entrepreneur, you should be entitled to a training budget which pays for 100% of your lessons!  Contact us for more information & we can arrange this for you so you don’t have the hassle of the French paperwork….

Make your own mini group

If you like the idea of private lessons, but you are on a budget and don’t qualify for a training budget to finance your course, then why not think about getting 2-4 people together and making your own mini group.

  • You get the same benefits as above in terms of personalisation and flexibility
  • But you can save money!

Weekly Groups

Our Weekly Groups are great for a little French immersion during your week.

  • Teachers speak French throughout the class
