One of the valley’s premier trail running events, the Trail des Aiguilles Rouges offers three challenging courses:
TAR: 51 km with 3,700 m elevation gain
Small TAR: 15 km with 1,300 m elevation gain
Mini TAR: 9 km with 625 m elevation gain

Celebrate the end of summer with the Grande Braderie in Chamonix’s town center. From 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, local merchants offer discounts on a variety of goods, making it a perfect opportunity to pick up souvenirs or enjoy the lively atmosphere. chamonix.net

September in Chamonix typically sees daytime temperatures ranging from 10°C to 20°C, with cooler evenings. It’s an ideal time for hiking, with clear skies and vibrant autumn colors beginning to emerge.
