There are some regular events that take place every week in Morzineincluding the Morzine Market on Wednesday mornings in the Post Office square at the bottom of the town. Taste and buy local specialities, look at local crafts and much more!

The main events of Summer 2016

2-5 June

Euro des Montagnes: for 4 days, football is coming to Morzine! Cheer on teams from all over Europe in the heart of the village!

19 June

Morzine CycloSportive: 2 races of 142km and 92km for road bikers over the Joux Verte, Corbier, Grand Taillet, Jambaz and Encrenaz cols!

24-26 June

Pass-Portes du Soleil: a major MTB event taking place in the Portes du Soleil resorts spanning France and Switzerland. An event that welcomes mountain bikers from all over the world and grows in popularity from one year to the next!

2-3 July

Spartan Race: a running/adventure race with a variety of obstacles.

3 July

Crève-Coeur Race: a trail running race to the top of the Ressachaux mountain

10 July

Etape du Tour: for the first time, Morzine will host the Etape du Tour, the most prestigious cyclo event in the world that welcomes 15 000 cyclists.

23 July

Tour de France: this needs no explanation! The world’s most famous cycle race finishes in Morzine after a mountain stage across 4 cols/mountain passes. The penultimate stage of the Tour de France this year, this could be the most exciting and decided stage!
