How does it work?

We offer our online learning courses in association with Tell Me More & Rosetta Stone, world leaders in e-learning. You will follow a course that is personalised to your level, objectives and interests using a complete and interactive method. Varied exercises focusing on comprehension, writing and speaking, grammar, vocabulary and culture. Our package uses cutting edge technology including evaluation of your pronunciation and interactive dialogues using speech recognition. You can access your online learning materials 24 hours a day for the duration of your course from a desktop, laptop or Ipad/tablet. You can then add teacher time with us to practice everything you have learned.

Is it suitable for me?

If you don’t want to take an intensive course and aren’t always available at the same time each week for weekly lessons, then online learning offers a flexible solution. If you travel for work, need flexibility and spend time waiting in airports, this can also be a good choice!

Can’t I just do this myself and not through a school?

Our e-learning platform is a comprehensive learning programme, with varied exercises focusing on comprehension, writing and speaking, grammar, vocabulary and culture. In addition to this, you have private lessons with a teacher either in person or via Skype. Your tutor will follow your progress on the e-learning platform and will be available to answer any questions you may have. So compared to traditional online learning packages, you have someone to supervise your progress, answer your questions and help you practice specific skills or vocabulary specific to your level and objectives for your course.

What are the advantages of online learning?

Flexibility – you can choose when and where to study online, you can also choose when to take lessons, either in person or via Skype.
Value for money – we offer courses for only 41€ per month
Continue your studies after a course with a school you already know – if you have been studying with Alpine French School and are leaving Morzine but wish to continue studying with us, then you can combine an e-learning licence with Skype lessons with the teacher who taught you during your time in Morzine.

What does my tutor do?

You work on the e-learning platform in your own time, with unlimited access 24h/24h. In addition to this, you have check-in lessons with one of our teachers which enable you to ask questions about the e-learning platform, or practice particular skills such as conversation or pronunciation.

What packages does Alpine French School offer?

Option 1

12 months online learning + 6 x 30-minute Skype lessons: 495€ or 41€ per month**

Option 2

12 months online learning + 12 x 30-minute Skype lessons: 675€ or 56€ per month**

Option 3

12 months online learning + 6 x 45-minute private lessons: 585€ or 49€ per month**

Option 4

12 months online learning + 12 x 45-minute private lessons: 855€ or 71€ per month**

All course materials are included in the cost of the course, including a headphone/microphone set for interactive dialogues, pronunciation and speech recognition
