GCSE and A-level Preparation Courses

Alpine French School organizes specific courses aimed at GCSE and A level students.

Classes are taught by a native French speaking teacher, who has worked in UK schools and has specialized inGCSE’s exam requirements.

Targeted exam preparation + interactive and communicative activities with emphasis on getting speaking & listening skills up to level
Tips for students to approach exams with the right tools and knowledge of real expectations as far as ‘scoring marks’ is concerned

For GCSE students

Shared group lessons focusing exclusively on GCSE skills development
Monday – Friday
275€ for the course
15 hours* of French tuition in groups

*Please note that in case of low numbers (less than 3 students), the course will be turned into a private intensive course of 5 x 1 hour (one-to-one with a teacher)

For IGCSE, AS and A-LEVELS students

For IGCSE and A Level students, we propose private intensive courses as the needs are specific to each student and private course enable the teacher and student to focus on individual programs, needs and weaknesses.

Private intensive course (5 private lessons)
Monday – Friday
5 x 1 hour of French tuition – one-on-one with a teacher : € 300
5 x 1h30 of private French tuition – one-on-one with a teacher : € 450

February Half-Term:

GCSE (in groups): 13th-17th February 2017

IGCSE / AS Level or A Level (private intensive): any week

Easter:

GCSE (in groups): 10th-14th April 2017

IGCSE / AS Level or A Level (private intensive): any week

May Half-term:

GCSE (in groups):29th May – 2nd June 2017

IGCSE / AS Level or A Level (private intensive): any week

Other Options:

French Summer Camp during the summer holidays:

Includes full-board accommodation, full study and activity programme, excursions.
