We are very pleased to introduce the new Director for our French Summer Camp in France. Christophe Wells has joined the Alpine French School team after a successful career in the education industry. A qualified and experienced Director of French Summer Camps in France, a French and English teacher, Christophe is a great addition to our team.
Christophe ran a French Summer Camp in France in Morzine itself many years ago and fell in love with the town and the surrounding area. He admits that if the Summer Camp where he worked hadn’t closed down, then he would have probably stayed in the area for his whole life as it was by far his favourite job! After going on to teach in schools and universities in France and England and coordinate European projects, he decided to return to his first love and come back to Morzine. When he found out that we were looking for a new Director for our French Summer Camp in France, he contacted us straight away and we are very pleased that he did so!
Christophe will be working closely with us to learn more about our Summer Camp before the start of the camp in July 2017. He will work closely with Alpine French School Director, Helen Watts, to prepare the French Summer Camp in France. He will no doubt bring a wealth of experience to our Summer Camp and will help ensure that Campers really experience a truly linguistic Summer Camp where they not only learn French, but learn about France, meet French children and teens in addition to their guides and teachers so that they leave motivated to speak French and having overcome any shyness or reluctance that they brought with them to our French Summer camp in France.
At Alpine French School, we are passionate about providing enriching, transformative experiences for students that go beyond the classroom. We’re proud to offer tailored school trips that help students fulfill key sections of their Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award, including the Residential, Skills, and Physical elements. Nestled in the heart…
