There are many things that distinguish one French Summer Camp from another, but one of the main differences is the activities on offer. Children and teenagers have varying interests and it is important to try and select a Summer Camp programme that is suitable for them.
At Alpine French School’s French Summer Camp, there are a huge variety of activities on offer. In France, the profession of being an activity leader or a Camp Director is a true profession which demands a high level of qualification in France. There is often a variety of activities on offer each day so campers can choose from several activities, depending on the sort of thing they enjoy doing.
Option +
We have a scheme of additional activities called Option +
This is to offer campers on our French Summer Camp the possibility to discover mountain adventure activities, to practice activities that they already love or to brush up their language skills. The Option + scheme means that, 3 afternoons per week, instead of the standard activity programme, campers will instead take their chosen activity. So campers eat with everyone at lunchtime and then an activity leader will accompany the group taking the Option + to their chosen activity. The different choices available at the Alpine French School French Summer Camp are as follows:
Includes activities such as Adventure Park, Canyoning, Via Ferrata, Mountain Biking.
Different levels of mountain biking available. Mostly downhill and some cross country
Campers and their parents often choose to the most of their time at a French Summer Camp to really focus on their language skills. 3 x 45-minute private lessons are a perfect opportunity to work on French for a specific objective such as an upcoming exam.
If you keen on horse-riding or tennis, then why not enjoy these sports in the new wonderful setting of Morzine. 3 afternoons per week, we can arrange tennis or horse-riding sessions in the Parc des Derêches.
