French Summer Camp 2020

The nights are drawing in, the leaves are falling from the trees and we even have some snow on the mountain tops around Morzine. But here at Alpine French School, we have already been working on our French Summer Camp version 2020 for some time now! Every year, we strive to improve our French Summer Camp based on things that we notice during the summer and comments from parents, students, teachers and activity leaders.

New for 2020 is that our French Summer Camp will now be based in the heart of Morzine. This will make it easier for parents to take their children to the French Summer Camp and collect them at the end of the day without needing to take their car or use our shuttle service. For our residential students, this means the possibility of walking into Morzine during their free time periods for a spot of souvenir shopping or to grab an ice-cream with fellow campers.

Our French Day Camp will be hosted in one of the local primary schools in Morzine, a perfect location in the heart of Morzine and a perfect premises for our French classes with indoor and outdoor areas for play and activities. Lunches will be provided by a neighbouring hotel, offering substantial and good quality 2-course meals to suit the tastes of international students. Dietary requirements are well catered for. Morning and afternoon snacks and drinks will be provided on-site or during activities.

We have also been working on our Activity Programmes to select the most popular activities for our students. Our Adventure Activity programme will still include the popular activities such as white-water rafting, mountain biking, tree-top adventure park and canyoning but watch this space for our 2020 programmes! Our Discovery and Creativity programme will also be undergoing a revamp so keep your eyes on our blog and our website for more information!
