At Alpine French School, we are passionate about providing enriching, transformative experiences for students that go beyond the classroom. We’re proud to offer tailored school trips that help students fulfill key sections of their Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award, including the Residential, Skills, and Physical elements. Nestled in the heart of the stunning French Alps, our programs are designed to inspire, challenge, and build lifelong memories.
Our location in the French Alps provides a breathtaking backdrop for adventure and learning. Students will experience an exciting, shared environment that’s far removed from their everyday lives.
From language immersion to teamwork-based activities, we create opportunities for students to connect with others and grow as individuals.
We combine structured learning, discovery, and outdoor adventures to ensure the experience is both educational and unforgettable.
We know that the Skills section is about challenging students to try new things or improve on existing talents. At Alpine French School, we offer:
French Language Courses: Students can develop their French skills in a fun, engaging environment with our expert instructors. Whether they’re beginners or already have some experience, our tailored lessons ensure progress for all.
Cultural Workshops: From cooking French cuisine to learning about local traditions, our cultural activities give students the chance to explore and develop new skills.
The French Alps are a natural playground, making them the perfect setting for the Physical section of the DofE Award. We offer:
Outdoor Adventures: Activities like paddleboarding, hiking through picturesque trails, and climbing help students stay active while exploring nature.
Group Sports and Challenges: Team-based physical activities foster camaraderie and add an extra element of fun to the experience.
For students completing their Gold-level DofE Award, the Residential section is an opportunity to step outside their comfort zones and immerse themselves in new experiences. Our Residential programs are perfect for this, with each trip tailored to each, individual group.
We understand the importance of creating a balance between learning and enjoyment. Every trip we design is crafted with care to ensure students leave with new skills, unforgettable memories, and personal growth. Whether it’s completing the Residential section, mastering the Skills component, or taking on the Physical challenge, we’re here to guide and support your students every step of the way.
If your students are working toward their Duke of Edinburgh Award, we’d love to help. Get in touch today to discuss how Alpine French School can provide a tailored trip to help them achieve their goals, all while embracing the adventure of a lifetime.
