Discover Morzine in November

When most people think of Morzine, they imagine bustling slopes, après-ski, and winter sports. But November is a hidden gem in the Portes du Soleil, offering a quieter, charming, and surprisingly lively experience—long before the ski lifts start turning. If you’re visiting before the snow hits, here’s why November in Morzine is worth your attention.

Learn French Before the Season Starts

November is the perfect time to brush up on your French before the ski season begins. Our Seasonnaire Crash Course runs from 11th November to 4th December and can be joined from wherever you are. It’s designed specifically for seasonal workers, focusing on practical language skills that will help you communicate confidently on the slopes, in restaurants, or at your local café. But hurry—spaces are limited!

And if you just want to practice your French in a relaxed, social setting, our FREE conversation evenings are back this autumn. Hosted by native speakers, these gatherings are open to all levels and move around different venues to make them convenient for everyone. You can even combine language practice with outdoor experiences like guided hikes, where you can immerse yourself in nature—and French—at the same time.  We’re excited to announce that we’re also starting English conversation evenings—we’ll keep you posted with dates and details soon!  Check out our facebook page  and webpage for more details!

Events and Entertainment

Even before the ski season begins, Morzine offers plenty of ways to enjoy the local culture. Here’s a taste of what’s happening this November:
