5 things you’ll never hear our French summer camp students say

Looking to give your child a summer holiday to remember but at the same time want them to do a bit of extra studying? Then why not consider booking them a spot on our amazing French summer camp? Based in one of the most beautiful places in the world, our summer camp isn’t JUST about learning a language. It’s also about having fun, meeting new people and having the adventure of a lifetime. Here are 5 things we’re sure you’ll never hear your child say after a trip to learn French with us. And here’s why…

“French is boring”

Our classes at our French Summer Camp are fun, engaging and unique. We work tirelessly to make sure the classes are tailored to the students ability so they’re not too easy or too hard. We intersperse the classes with free time and activities to make sure we keep the children’s attention. We also understand the importance of participation and group work. We use innovative methods of learning so our lessons aren’t just sitting in a classroom and listening to a teacher talk for hours. They’re interactive and interesting.

“The teachers are so dull”

We employ experienced, bilingual teachers who are passionate about teaching languages and do it in a fun and engaging way. We make sure we have a variety of different people with different experiences and skills so that we can offer a varied programme of lessons and teaching styles. The  enthusiasm and energy that our teachers possess translates into their teaching, meaning classes at our summer school are never boring. They’re engaging, full of colour and plenty of fun.

“We didn’t do anything fun at summer camp

We know that the last thing children want to do during their summer holidays is go back to school, that’s why we make every effort to ensure our French Summer Camp is NOTHING like school. As well as lessons being fun, we offer an amazing timetable of activities throughout the week which happen between lessons. We’re based in the heart of the amazing Portes du Soleil mountain region so there are some incredible adventure activities to try including white water rafting and canyoning. We have amazing swimming pools and lakes, incredible hikes and walks on our doorstep and some amazing activity leaders who have hundreds of great games up their sleeves. We also arrange afternoon activities like dancing, yoga, Zumba and arts and crafts. I’ll eat my hat if a child says that none of the above is fun!

“The food is rubbish”

Our French Summer Camp is fully catered meaning your child gets breakfast, lunch and dinner with us. We cater for most dietary requirements and ensure that your child will never go hungry with snacks between lessons to keep them ticking over. If your child heads out on one of our amazing activities we also provide a picnic lunch for them to enjoy whilst they’re out of the grounds of the summer camp. Meal times are one of the most fun parts of the day with all the children coming together to chat about their days and share their summer camp experiences. We understand food can be tricky for some youngsters and we do all we can to make sure everyone is happy with the food we provide.

“This place sucks”

A beautiful summer school in the heart of the French Alps with its own swimming pool, table tennis table, basketball nets and stunning garden…. it most definitely does not suck!

With the fantastic town of Morzine on the doorstep and some brilliant facilities just a stone’s throw away, we’re pretty confident your child will have the holiday of a lifetime at our French Summer camp.
