How do I know my level?

Beginner plus

You can introduce yourself, but you want to learn how to ask questions, use verbs in the present and say what you do on a regular basis and learn to make your own sentences.

Elementary Plus

You can speak in the present but want to know how to say things in the past like explaining what you have done in order to become comfortable in your conversations and develop your vocab to use more complex expressions.

Lower intermediate

You can speak in the future, in the past and present but you want to learn more tenses to tell stories as you struggle to say things such as ‘he was running when I saw him..’ ‘I was watching telly whilst they were playing’.. And discover what pronouns are (You give me, I speak to you…)

Intermediate

You are comfortable speaking in all tenses but want to practise being more precise when talking about your life and also practise the intricacies of French language. You want to be more comfortable when using complex tenses and pronouns (I told him, she gave me…)
