Alpine French School offer a range of French courses and since many people aren’t aware of everything we offer, we thought we’d write a little resumé of the main different types of courses we run!
Private Lessons
We offer private lessons or individual lessons.
- You can choose the duration (45 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, even 2 hours if you want intensive study!)
- You can choose the day and time (subject to availability)
- Suitable if you aren’t on a regular schedule as you don’t have to stick to the same time each week
- Suitable if you aren’t in Morzine all the time (if you travel for your job for example) as you can plan lessons around your schedule
- If you prefer to have explanations in English, then private lessons are best as the lessons are tailor-made to your level, your objectives and your learning preferences!
- We can even travel to you if you prefer for a small travel fee, however most students prefer to come to the school to be in a concentrated learning environment :)
- All of our teachers are native-speakers and qualified teachers who come from all over France to work in Morzine teaching French
- If you are on a French contract or have your own French business or if you are an auto-entrepreneur, you should be entitled to a training budget which pays for 100% of your lessons! Make your own mini group
If you like the idea of private lessons, but you are on a budget and don’t qualify for a training budget to finance your course, then why not think about getting 2-4 people together and making your own mini group.
- You get the same benefits as above in terms of personalisation and flexibility
- But you can save money!
Weekly Groups
Our Weekly Groups are great for a little French immersion during your week.
- Teachers speak French throughout the class
- All of our teachers are native-speakers and qualified teachers who come from all over France to work in Morzine teaching French
- Great for people living and working in the area. 1.5 hours per week then time to practise your French in between lessons.
- Lessons focus on conversational French
- Groups of all levels available
- Classes take place at our school in central Morzine (parking available)
- If you are on a French contract or have your own French business or if you are an auto-entrepreneur, you should be entitled to a training budget which pays for 100% of your lessons! French Intensive Course
Our French Intensive Courses are great for French Immersion.
- We run Intensive Courses throughout the winter and the summer months & subject to demand during inter-season periods.
- Meet students from all around the world
- Teachers speak French throughout the class
- All of our teachers are native-speakers and qualified teachers who come from all over France to work in Morzine teaching French
- Our winter timetable is 9h-11h and/or 16h-18h Monday to Friday. Take morning lessons only or afternoons only or both!
- Our summer timetable is 9h-12h Monday to Friday
- Lessons focus on conversational French
- Groups of all levels available
- Classes take place at our school in central Morzine (parking available)
