The snow has arrived this week……….
Have you ever thought about learning French, or improving your French whilst on your ski trip to Morzine?
If you’re like me, then the answer to that would be “no!” I am more of a first lift, last lift kind of person. Why on earth would I miss my precious skiing time?
Please read on, as I think this article about the “Learn French and Skiing Course” at Alpine French School may just change your mind.
Alpine French School is based less than 8 minute walk from the Super Morzine lift and 15 minutes walk from the Pléney lift where you can access approximately 650km of ski pistes. So you could go straight from the classroom to the lift with a little careful pre-planning, or straight from the mountain to the classroom depending on which course you choose. We have facilities for leaving your ski kit here, or getting changed. Pléney lift also offer lockers to hire which would save you walking with your skis and boots.
The school has carefully planned their schedule of learning around the typical skiing day, rather than the other way round. Genius hey? So whilst you’re on your Morzine holiday, you get the best of both worlds by getting to ski everyday and learn/ improve the French language without feeling like you have missed out on mountain time.
Courses run from 31st December 2018 through until the 12th April 2019
We offer two French courses to choose from to pair with your Winter activity. We have purposely planned one intensive class late in the afternoon so you can make the most of the snow in your free time and added one intensive course in the morning for those who don’t ski or those who want to concentrate on their French!
At Alpine French School, we are passionate about providing enriching, transformative experiences for students that go beyond the classroom. We’re proud to offer tailored school trips that help students fulfill key sections of their Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award, including the Residential, Skills, and Physical elements. Nestled in the heart…
