Summer may seem like a long time away for some, but many parents are already getting organised for 2017 or starting to think about their plans.
If you have children between 6 and 11 years of age and you are interested in them improving their French while taking part in great activities and meeting other children from all over the world, then take a look at our French Summer Camp options. We offer French Summer Day Camps for children aged 6 years and upwards. Choose to book your child in for mornings (9h-12h30) or full days (9h-17h30). If you don’t live in the area or have a holiday home in the area, we can arrange or help advise you regarding accommodation for your stay. If you are also interested in learning French yourself, then we can book you on to one of our adult Intensive French courses too.
For teenagers, we also have the option as part of our French Summer Camp of a residential French camp. 11-17 year olds can stay on-site in our student residence for a full French immersion experience. Looked after by our French Camp Director and our qualified activity leaders who live on-site, campers take part in a full programme of French lessons, activities, excursions and are encouraged to speak French throughout the day including at mealtimes and during evening activities to ensure that they maximise their time with us.
Students join morning lessons for which they are split into suitable groups according to their age and level. Our dynamic native-speaker teachers organise fun lessons based on conversation, games, songs and interactive activities. Learning French at our French Summer Camp is not like learning French at school!! The one thing that all of our students take away is to see learning French as fun and to understand why they study French at school. Often children don’t see the point in learning French at school and don’t feel motivated to try. This is the shift in attitude that parents comment on to us and most of our students leave our French Summer Camp wanting to learn French, wanting to speak French and having activated the passive knowledge that they have acquired at school. And this shift in attitude and awareness is as important as the vocabulary, grammar and tips that they learn during their French Summer Camp lessons.
So when you are starting to think about your plans for summer 2017, why not bear our French Summer Camp in mind and offer your children a fun, rewarding and educational experience.
