Learn French and Ski

Why not combine a French course this winter with an amazing skiing holiday in Morzine, part of the largest ski-area in Europe? Alpine French School offers you the opportunity to learn French and ski in one of a range of packages including French courses and sporting activities.

 

Learn French and Ski: course options

 

We offer several different options for those wishing to learn French and ski:

 

  1. Ski or snowboard in the morning as part of a group ski lesson with a French instructor, then head down from the slopes in the afternoon for intensive French lessons. Ski all day at weekends.

 

  1. Ski or snowboard in the morning with friends or fellow students, then join our standard intensive courses in the afternoon. Ski all day at weekends.

 

  1. Take part in French targeted workshops and/or French private lessons in the mornings, have a quick ski/snowboard over lunchtime, take a French Standard Intensive Course in the afternoon. Ski all day at weekends.

 

Cultural & Social Activity Programme

At the end of each day, we offer cultural and social activities for our students such as:

 

  • Orientation tour
  • Introduction to French media
  • Après-ski with French conversation
  • French music
  • French comedy
  • Fun introduction to French literature!
  • French cinema evening
  • Wine tasting
  • Quiz evening

 

 

Alpine French School

Alpine French School is based in Morzine in the Portes du Soleil. We are located an hour from Geneva airport and 5 minutes walk from the ski slopes! Alpine French School was established in 2003 and our dynamic team strive to offer high quality courses taught by French native speakers. Our courses are fun yet educational with a great track record of allowing people to improve their French with interactive and communicative activities using our modern unique teaching methods.

 

 

Accommodation options

Alpine French School offers a variety of accommodation options to use as your learn French and ski base:

  • Host-family accommodation
  • Single or shared room in a French tourist residence
  • Studio or other self-catered apartment or chalet
  • 3 or 4-star hotel accommodation
  • Or maybe you already have accommodation booked and would just like to book your tuition through us

 

Extras

Online multi-media centre: all students receive access to our online multi-media centre which can be accessed from anywhere as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection.

 

Friendly French Scheme: we work in partnership with local businesses to ensure that our students receive a warm welcome in the town and receive encouragement from shopkeepers and other business owners when practising their French outside of the school.

 

We can also organise your airport transfers, liftpasses, ski hire and any additional extras you require.
